This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit koeformula.com or purchase from us, and how we use and protect that information. We keep it short and plain — if anything isn't clear, contact us using the link at the bottom of this page.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly:
- Contact form: your name, email address, the reason for contact, and your message.
- Waitlist forms (for our forthcoming powder and bundle products): your email address and which product you signed up for.
- Purchases: the information you provide to Stripe at checkout, which includes name, email, and — for physical products, when available — shipping address and payment details. Stripe processes and stores payment data; we do not.
We do not create user accounts, ask for passwords, or store any personal information you have not chosen to give us.
Information collected automatically:
- Standard web server logs recorded by our hosting provider — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamp.
- Cookies and similar technologies used by third-party services embedded on our site (see Section 3).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Fulfill your orders — deliver the eBook, ship physical products when available.
- Reply to your contact-form messages.
- Notify you when a product on our waitlist moves out of "Coming Soon" status.
- Understand which pages and ads perform best, so we can improve the site and our marketing. This involves sharing limited browsing and event data with Meta (Facebook) via the Meta Pixel — see Section 3 for details on what is shared.
- Comply with legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
3. Third-Party Services
We use a small set of third-party services to run the site. Each has its own privacy practices, linked below:
- Stripe (payment processing) — handles all checkout data. Credit-card details never touch our server. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Formspree (contact and waitlist form backend) — receives form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. See formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — sets cookies and collects browsing behavior on our site to help us measure and target our ads on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Data shared with Meta may include your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and actions taken (such as completing a purchase). If you have entered an email address on our site, a hashed (irreversible, cryptographically one-way) version of it may also be shared with Meta so it can match your activity to a Meta user account for measurement and ad delivery — the plain-text email address itself is not shared. - GoDaddy (web hosting) — hosts the site and records standard server-access logs. See godaddy.com/legal/agreements/privacy-policy.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Our site uses cookies primarily via the Meta Pixel. These help Meta understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve ad targeting and measure results.
You can control cookies and ad tracking in the following ways:
- Disable or clear cookies in your browser settings.
- Opt out of interest-based advertising at youradchoices.com or aboutads.info.
- Adjust your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using our site or purchasing our products.
5. Data Retention
- Contact-form messages: kept as long as needed to answer your question, then archived.
- Waitlist emails: kept until the product you signed up for launches and you have been notified, or until you ask to be removed.
- Purchase records: kept for tax and legal-compliance reasons, typically seven years, per applicable law.
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Ask what information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete your personal data.
- Ask to be removed from a product waitlist.
- Opt out of Meta ad tracking (see Section 4).
To make any of these requests, use the contact form. If you live in California (CCPA), the EU or UK (GDPR), or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, those rights apply and can be exercised through the same channel.
7. Children
koeformula.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections to Formspree. That said, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of the page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
